I know Bravecto is the best for flea treatment, but what's the next best please?

Hi, looking to get a flea treatment for our cats. We have some Bravecto but it was an absolute nightmare to get - had to take the cats for checkups even though they absolutely hate them, then had to pay a lot for a prescription, and then eventually could buy the Bravecto - and somehow, now it's time to apply it, we've completely lost it. So around £200 wasted, and a load of stress/hassle for both us and the cats.

What's the best over the counter flea treatment please? Tempted to signup to a health plan for Advantage Spot-on Flea treatment at Pets at Home

Thanks

On a side note, we have two cats, what an absolute scam that the 250mg for medium cats actually costs more than the 500mg for large cats! :/

Thanks, that's a great shout but hard to get a prescription for it that way (also, my wife isn't keen on the idea unfortunately)

do your cqts have aproblem with fleas/

If not, do you need to put insecticide on them on a regular basis?

I have dogs, not cats, but I do not use flea treatment unless the dogs catch fleas , which has happened twice in over 50 years of owning dogs. Both times they caught them when visiting other houses.
