The Estate Agent has now advised that another bidder has topped my original offer by £15k, I advised that I was exiting the process. However, the EA has advised that since we've done a survey and can move faster, we are the preferred bidders but at my original offer.0

I wouldn’t let the £15k distract you - assuming you are still considering - because the new bidder could easily get a survey and reduce their offer.Fashion on the Ration

£15k is quite a big chunk of money to lose over a quicker sale. I'm not saying EAs lie but I wouldn't take it as fact either.
But it's down to you; do you think the house is worth your original offer?
