1. Competition

   1. The promotion is a prize draw (the “competition”) with 1 winner in total. It will take place on 12.09.2024. The competition is open to all persons in the UK over the age of 18. The competition is free to enter. By entering the competition, you agree to these terms and conditions. To enter, participants must enter their name and email address to sign up to the cottages.com and ocado.com newsletters The prize draw is open between 3pm on 12 September 2024 and 23.59pm on 19 September 2024. The winner will be selected from all successful entries at random.

   2. One submission per participant will be accepted. If multiple submissions are received from a participant, all submissions of such participant will be considered void and will not be considered. By entering your email address, you are agreeing to sign up to our email newsletters. You can opt out of newsletters at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails. For more information on how we use your personal data please see our Privacy Notice (https://www.cottages.com/legal/privacy-notice). By entering the competition, the prize winner grants the promoter permission to use their name and likeness for advertising and future promotional purposes without additional compensation (except where prohibited)

2. Prize

   The prize is a £2,000 e-voucher to spend on cottages.com and 20 x £100 e-vouchers to spend on Ocado.com The prize does not include travel, or any other expenses connected with the accommodation. The prize is subject to the cottages.com Booking Conditions, available at https://www.cottages.com/legal/booking-conditions The accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking.

   1. The winner will be selected on 20 September and will be notified, by email.

   2. The winner must contact us and confirm acceptance of the prize within [ten] days of receiving the notification that they have won. If a winner fails to accept the prize within this time, then a re-draw will take place on the eleventh day and a new winner will be selected and announced.

   3. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.

      The promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of similar value should the prize become unavailable for any reason.

   3. Promoter

   The promoter of the competition is Awaze Vacation Rentals Ltd of Sunway House, Raglan Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk, England, NR32 2LW (“Awaze”).

   1. Employees of Awaze and their agents and families are not permitted to enter.

   2. The promoter will not be responsible for any entries that are not received for any reason, by the competition closing date, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions or any other reasons. Proof of delivery is not proof of receipt.

   3. Any incomplete, offensive or illegible submissions will be considered void and not counted. The promoter’s decision is final and correspondence will not be entered into. The promoter reserves the right to withdraw, extend or amend the competition at any time.

   4. The competition is governed by English law and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with it.

The entry confirmation screen, currently says this:

"You have entered the giveaway.

The winner will be announced on 23rd August."

It's clearly a typo and must mean September not August (see t&c's)
