Hi, I'm a new member. I have just received a claim form from Northamptonshire County Court stating that stating that I am indebted to a claimant called Civil Enforcement Limited to the amount of £866.76, of which £726.76 is the amount claims (£680 + interest of 8% per annum is the total of four PCN(s) and damages, which they state were issued on 31/08/2023, 14/09/2023, 20/10/2023, and 02/02/2024; and the remaining £140 is court fee and legal representatives). The adress for sending payments is DCBL Legal Ltd in Runcorn.
Here is the problem. This is the first I have ever heard of this, and I definitely wasn't parked at that location (KFC Garston 52 Speke Road, L19 2PA) on the dates at all, never mind for more than 90 minutes. I can prove this because for two of the dates I was actually out of the country and nobody else has access to my car. On the other two dates I was working all day in Wigan
In the interests of transparency, I did receive one PCN from this location last summer, however it was not on any the dates stated.
Is it possible that they have mixed my case with someone else's?
I apologise if I haven't provided all the necessary information or gone about this the right way. I am currently going through a divorce and recently lost a child. I am having regular therapy and counselling due to suicidal thoughts, however my therapist is on annual leave until late next week and this is causing me huge amounts of stress and I'm really struggling to cope. I was just getting somewhere and this has really knocked me back. I'm literally shaking and I've got no support network. Don't know how I'm going to cope
Can anyone help, what do I do? I'm trying to call DCBL but I've been on hold for over an hour
