Notice of Enforcement first communication since defence filed

Options
Hi. Not sure this is the right place so apologies
Many months ago, our business was paid by a client for some work carried out. After paying us they raised a dispute about quality of work and went to small claims court to recover their costs. We filed a defence as were fully confident in the quality of work and it was in fact their actions which has resulted in damage.
Filed a defence accordingly.
We didn’t hear anything for several months and assumed they had decided not to proceed
Today I’ve received an email from a debt collecting agency headed as “Notice of Enforcement” and suggesting we have 7 days to settle the debt or high court enforcement will be commenced.
I replied and told them I’d had no correspondence since filing defence to which they acknowledged the defence and said it had been struck out by the courts and judgement issued on 12 September.  Is that even normal? We don’t get a chance to attend court? And also we have had nothing from the court at all in relation to the matter?
