Can I take this to the ombudsman?

The rates for the relevant periods will be on the bills, it is then just a simple process to calculate actual costs.mrsyardbroom said:powerful_Rogue said:You shouldn't, but it will give you an idea of how much you will have to pay.How do you usually pay? Do you have a direct debit going out each month? If so, how much credit have you built up?Do you have the meter readings from when you switched supplier and the current meter readings? (Day and night)What tariff are you on?
I pay £120 a month by direct debit. I have £600 in the account but 4 payments will come out of that for the bills. I have all the meter readings but I don't know how much I was being charged per unit as the prices changed. I'm on the E.ON Next Pledge Tracker tariff. It's no good trying to work it out on the current rates as they're cheaper than they were.0 -

I'm sure they are on the bills. That's the whole point of the post though. I don't have any bills. I believe energy companies have to supply customers with bills, and in this case the only bill I've had from E.ON was dated 24th May. There hasn't been one since. In spite of saying it would be forwarded to the billing department and they would sort it out, nothing has been done.MattMattMattUK said:

Don't mess with pensioners. :cool:0 -
If you go into your online account you should be able to see your bills.
I left them last year & can still see all my bills from when I was with them from 7 Oct 2021.Life in the slow lane1 -
No, I can't. That is whole point. E.ON are supposing to be sorting things out so that my bills are brought up to date, and I will be able to see them online. They haven't calculated them yet. They've said as much and they've asked the billing department to sort it out, but nothing has been done.born_again said:If you go into your online account you should be able to see your bills.

I'll escalate it to the ombudsman.
