Morning again.
It's a fine morning, but so cold. Yesterday was cold as well, but sunny, so I reorganised some plants for the winter. Our yard is sheltered and is South facing, so delicate plants can over winter out there.
Visiting a house bound friend this morning with some shopping she wanted, nothing else planned though.
Newroadahead, I sometimes wonder about NMLC, hope she's ok. She was such a regular, then just disappeared.
Sorry to read yesterday that you'd had a bad day Mehefin.
Thinking of our poorly/sad people.
Take care folks.

Morning allBrrrr it's cold again today but seems to be warming up a little bit next week which is good as me and DH are doing what I am calling a 'road trip'. After watching lots of episodes of a TV show about Chester Zoo we are going there and then visiting a friend I met on a chat room about 15 years ago. We have met a couple of times over the years and still keep in touch chatting on FB and we are going to see them in Liverpool. We are then spending a couple of days in Yorkshire and then overnight in the Peak District then home. TA I'll be picking your brains on a good pub to have lunch in Skipton while we are there!!Washing to hang out and some packing to do later.Hugs to the poorlies and sad x11

Morning all, thanks for starting us off @Scarlet.I did all my shopping yesterday so my fridge is stocked up. The day turned out to be fairly decent, dry bright and chilly. Once home I checked the weather forecast again, the forecasted horror rain has shifted away from here. Last night the sky was spectacular, bright red moon and then lots of twinkling stars. I really enjoy seeing the stars, it's fascinating.Today could be fine too, there seems to have been overnight rain so I hope that it stays dry. Once again, I have no plans though I may take away the recycling.Hugs to our poorlies.11

The wind has dropped here so things look much calmer and maybe not so many apples will fall off the trees.Yesterday turned out different from planned as we added in an extra walk around the local resevoir with a friend who was having a hard time.Today needs to be shopping and a couple of returns to make to shops. Perhaps some leave sweeping too 🍁
Mehefin - hope today is better but be kind to yourself!Happy Friday all

Morning, sunny but quite chilly here.
Yesterday DH had his blood test at the surgery, quickly in and out, very efficient. Then we did the food shop, was strange having DH with me, even more so as he kept wandering off to look at things. At least with a child you can sit them in the trolley!
Had a text from a friend I haven't seen for about 5 years, meeting up for a coffee next week. No doubt lots to catch up on.
Friday the 13th. We got married on Friday 13th and have been married for 51 years this year. Lucky for some.
Derek, thinking of you. Take care.
Love to all x

Good morning everyone
Gosh it's chilly here but at least it's bright. We had a terrific downpour last night with the sun shining brightly, the weather is very unpredictable. Have done a wash this morning which is on the line but not sure it will dry.
Going to pop into town this morning and then I have been invited to some friends this afternoon and into the evening. It is nice to have some company.
Derek there are so many ups and downs to go through, stay strong and look after yourself.
Thoughts are with the poorlies and the sad.
Take care x10 -
Morning folks. By heck what a cold start here. 0 deg and a thick frost. I was up early and beat the bullocks who were still asleep on the frosty grass! Brr! It's now blue sky and sun but far from warm. I was glad of the heating which soon got turned on.
I am leaving around lunchtime and have decided this is to be my last stay this season. I have packed all the stuff I keep here and may need a trailer! All to come back in the spring. DD and the girls plan on coming at half term for a final stay before the site closes.
Mehefin it's still early days so take each day as it comes. Six years on I can still.have bad days. Izzy have a good break and it's a better forecast for next week. take care all and hugs.for all in need. Xx

Morning all
Bright and sunny here but with a chill in the air yesterday when walking the dogs it was very autumnal with lots of leaves on the ground and falling, i can’t wait to light the log burner but it’s still to mild here really although I was chilly in bed last night so will be glad when my new electric blanket arrives today.
Going to have my nails done today will have something more autumnal put on maybe a deep red or chocolate brown.I have put another wash on this morning and there is one more to do after it’s not all holiday clothes but bedding as well where dd changed the bed for us coming back and towels etc but it will be good to get on top of it.
Dinner tonight will be chicken and mushroom risotto, DD is going to her young man’s for dinner so just OH and I here for dinner.
OH’s mum has been moved into a nursing home for a 6 week assessment but if she gets on ok they have room to keep her, OH went to visit last night and said she seems happy enough just very confused bless her.
Derek hugs to you it’s still early days my friend xx
Izzy have a great holiday xx
Have good days all and take care xx8 -
Morning everyone
Chilly here too - yesterday it got out lovely by the afternoon - warm enough to take my fleece off in the nursery garden, the sky was such a bright blue.
Izzy - little one is doing well - DD is taking her to family assembly this morning and then into her classroom to see everyone and join them for a story. I'm going to go and see them when they get back and before I go to work. Her blood sugars are still dropping a bit during the night but they're improving. One of the community nurses is going to school next Tuesday lunchtime, so DD will take little one for the training and then she'll stay for the afternoon and hopefully that'll be her back to school.
Mam went to visit dad yesterday, he'd been upset when she had left to come home, but that was to be expected. She's going back today and I'll go with her tomorrow. There's an occupational therapist coming to their house next Tuesday to assess things and see if they need any more aids, I'm taking the afternoon off so I can be there. Hopefully he won't be too long getting home after that.
Friday 13th - eldest DD is flying from Istanbul to Kuala Lumpa today - it was more than £300 cheaper to fly on the 13th than the 12th or 14th - she said she'll just cross her fingers!
Derek - I hope today is a better day for you
Best get my packed lunch made. I hope everyone has a good day x10
