Actually I am not a regular user of this board in the sense that I post, I am just a long time lurker of the whole site in general and whilst you may be angry at me for posting the prevous post, I must stress that having been at the receiving end of my OH having an affair with a male co-worker and I found out about it by reading her e-mails and MSN , I do feel that it is wrong to outwordly "discuss" details or make reference to the affair on a public forum.

That said, i apologise if I have offended anybody but still cannot understand why this affair is not discussed behind closed doors as it were, instead of making teasing comments and to be honest, leaving other readers in no doubt as to exactly what is going on.

If the people concerned want to carry on their liason then I see no reason why it should be done on a public forum with obviously no regard as to their OH's -if any, who I imagine, would be dismayed to find out first of all about the affair and secondly that it had been "discussed" for all to see.

Again, apologies if offense has been caused.

Someone needs to see the joke here........good grief, if everyone who flirted with everyone else was 'having an affair', then, blimey - me and Snaggles would be at it left right and centre as she has offered to marry me for my Jaffa Cakes!!!

Sorry but you can't apologise for causing offence when you know full well what you put wasn't exactly nice.

Hey Harvey, you are dead right and I'm sorry that your OH has had an affair as it must leave terrible scars. I know someone who too found out about his OH having an affair by monitoring her emails and it almost destroyed him. Very underhand all of it aint it. Lenny

I have my opinion and I believe it to be correct but whilst saying that I do understand if it has caused offense, it wasn't, I assure you intended. I just felt that this not the right place to discuss such details and my thoughts were with the people who could possibly be extremely hurt.

I will delete my original post but still stand against my belief that my original post was correct.
