  • Love the new hair IA! My hubby has contacts, they cost us £25 a month but are the ones you wear for a month and you don't need to take them out at night, the ones you take out every night but wear for a month were £12 a month. That's from optical express, I'm sure you can get it cheaper but his eye tests have always been free and if I remember right you get a months free trial. We have the NHS exemption card thingy.

If it makes you feel better about yourself I would say definitely go for it. What is a few pounds a week if it makes such a big difference to how you feel?

There's only sunshine that lies ahead. You have to move forward because it doesn't make sense to live in the past.

    Evening!

Only just got home because we stopped off at my parents on the way (wish we hadn't, but that's a whooooole other story ).

I had such a fun time at the party, I think we were quite respectably behaved considering the amount of alcohol consumed (apart from the lambrini pee incident obviously :rotfl:), although I think the less said about my 'singing' the better. You have NOOOO idea how relieved I was when I realised that video had no sound! ;)

Sar, let me know if that disc works and if not I will send you a less scratched copy - think Tash has been using it as a teether or something.

ps You look lovely in both photos but give contact lenses a go, you look really pretty.

  • Hi IA
Glad to hear you had a good night! Interesting wee you have apparantly, although I'm sure you just splashed it out of your glass :p !!
The Tax credit entitlement covers the cost of the eyetest and £25 towards your prescription, you can either have the £25 glasses (not like the old nhs ones honest - bet you don't remember them!) or top up the rest for the pair of your choice.
