Hotel Error, Package Holiday?

We've booked a holiday for next year 2 adults and 2 teens in one room. It says on email confirmation 2 adults and 2 children and ages.
Everything looked correct but followed a Facebook group for hotel and someone else mentioned something about 2 rooms due to teens.
After looking on hotel website they say only 3 adults per room and anyone over 12 is classed as an adult so they be funny when we come to check in.
If they are funny about this on arrival what responsibility would the travel agent have say if we turned up and they said no we can't put you in this room and have no other space rooms?
Like I mentioned earlier if I hadn't seen this Facebook post I wouldn't of known any different.

It is one of the major T/A as they could have their own contract with the hotel.

1. They don't have an additional room and you need to find somewhere else for some/all of you to stay.
2. They have room, but it's at their walk up price which is much more expensive than the price you've booked at.
I think I'd contact the hotel to try and find out / arrange another room if one is needed.1 -
I would contact Travel Republic and get them to do the chasing/confirmation
Just let them know what your concerns are and ask them to clarify. Get everything in writing2 -
I would go back to the travel agent.
They might have a special arrangement or if it's a mistake might have a contact that can help sort it.
Going to the hotel direct will confuse things.2 -
Thanks guys, just raised a support ticket with TR asking for them to confirm in writing that this is ok for the 4 of us in one room.0
