O2 mobile system glitch potentially causing credit rating issue

Had a bit of a row with O2 today. They keep sending me messages to say my account is deficit, which it is most certainly not. I pay monthly DD and also get help with Airtime Rewards, never had a problem , been with O2 for years. They cut my phone off today (later reinstated) but have warned me that my credit rating might be affected and I might get charged a late payment fee. They admit that I'm fully paid up, have never missed a payment and that they do have a system glitch , most likely between them and Airtime Rewards. Spoke to 3 different people, one of whom was very rude.
It's not right that their system error can affect my credit rating and no dubt if they do charge me a late payment fee, I'll on the phone for another hour. to get it back. Not that I could use my phone to call them as they had cut me off

Praise, vent and warnings? That’s what it is at the moment until the OP waits to see what happens. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Formal complaint to them (mention rude person - do it quickly while they may still have recordings)
Escalate to ombudsman if neededSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Not completely related but I notice that my Virgin Media account shows that it has been suspended on the app (it hasn’t and all still works). I’m wondering if they are using the same system as they are both part of the same company Virgin Media O2.0
