Loft insulation quote

I am looking to get loft insulation. This requires removing existing stud walls, carpets, laying the insulation, and installing loft legs and boarding for storage. (I would also look to install a ventilation tile, but these aren't included in the quotes).
-One has quoted about £1440
-Another has quoted £1110 (they will not remove the whole stud walls, but will cut holes to get behind and lay insulation to the eaves).
Do these sound reasonable based on your experience?
Alternatively, is it doable as a DIY job for someone without any skills or experience?
