Can anyone tell me about car clubs in the Glasgow area (cars that you can hire for a few hours or a couple of days).
Has anyone used them, what are they like?

Co-Wheels is the one I see most often. I toyed with the idea of signing up about a year ago but my nearest one is over a mile away so not ideal.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid1

I'm in Scotland, not in Glasgow, and looked in depth 2 or 3 years ago, but couldn't get the figures to stack up. I commuted by bike, but occasionally needed a car for work use. Instead of buying a second car hiring made sense.
I generally needed a car between 3 hours and a full day and found for me that I was cheaper to hire a car from Enterprise.
I understand council employees get a substantial discount, so it might be worth checking any occupational offers you get.0
