    I think that the £40 are the basic family element, 13 payments a year equates to the £520 so the OP wont qualify on the basis of tax credits.

    THe OP receives £520 a month the way I read it.

    She gets £520 a MONTH, so well over the minimum amount, there shouldn't be a problem with getting it
  • No harm in applying. I have recieved it for my 3 children, most recently on jointn £26k a year and still got it.
