Hi everyone,
Thursday already, the days are whizzing by. I didn't have my free Monday as planned because Esben was off with an ear infection so I was looking after him and then on Tuesday had both him and Esther. He went back to school yesterday and today both of them are in nursery/school and Nate's other Grandma has him so I am child free until 3.
I want to make some banana bread and probably some lemon drizzle cake for Esben's lunches and snacks. I've been out this morning and spent a fortune on fruit which will disappear in the blink of an eye but at least he will eat it which is more than can be said for most veggies unless they're hidden.
Dal for dinner although it's in the freezer so just need to do the sweet potato accompaniment.
Mehefin, I hope you're ok and I've just missed a post.
Nanny, you also, I hope things are ok.
Have a good day.7 -
Hi all from mehefinland
Still here. Just having a bad day. The bank sent the finalised statement for Dawn's account today. Also received notification from Land Registry about the house but not the field as yet. Just brought it all home with a horrific bump.
Blooming Rayburn has a big hole in the flue box so I cannot light it and I don't even know if it is repairable. A quick search shows a replacement (or as near as) at the princely sum of £350 +Vat . Its a 9inch square metal box with some holes in!!! Daylight robbery.
Sorry folks but I need to lick my wounds today
hugs and spoons as always
