Posting to a postal locker/store collection

I’ve some friends who are touring UK in a campervan for a celebration. They’ve given me their route/schedule and I want to send some surprises to them that they can collect along the way. 

Initial suggestion was that I could post to an InPost locker and send them the code but the InPost app suggests that’s not currently an option whilst they make systems changes. 

Anyone have any suggestions on how best to send something (low value) in these circumstances ?

ETA it’d be easy if I were buying from Amazon but the items are personalised and therefore not available from a retailer/online

you can use Evri to send to a locker, I would say from personal experience they attempted to add it to the locker but doe to lack of spaces returned my item after three attempts, you cannot redirect once you've chosen a locker so it was very frustrating but that might be a local issue.

I've not used this, so no idea on service but it's collect from any Asda store.

There are DPD and other lockers available but they don't all allow to be sent to the locker.

It started off as being Collect+ but they're now Yodel.

If you go on Parcel2go or similar they show you ones where you can deliver to a shop. I know UPS do that.

DPD deliver to shops and if you take it to a shop yourself to send it is very cheap - £4.79 for an 8kg parcel (using a random weight and postcodes)

I don't know how long a shop would hold a parcel for before returning it, so you would need to co-ordinate with your friends.
