OTCTEF.exe - do I need to get rid of this

I'm using a laptop with Vista and spybot is picking up

OTCTEF.exe

but it won't remove it and I can't find much information around and was wondering if people had seen or knew anything about it??

Try this

Open Spybot

Click Mode, and select Advanced Mode.

Click Settings in the left pane.

Click Settings in the right pane.
Under Automation - System Start, click the Automatically run program at system startup

Now reboot your PC

This should enable spybot to remove the offending item before it has a chance to load

If that fails restart the PC in Safe Mode, Pressing F8 as the PC boots and run spybot from there.

Remember to take the Automatically run program at system startup out when you're done

A quick google reveals very little about this file - before you delete it is it possible to upload it to Virustotal. THis site will scan it against 30+ anti virus scanners and those that do not detect it will be sent a sample allowing them to detect it in the future
