Fitting a dual fuel cooker

Who can fit a dual fuel cooker? We have a power supply for an electric oven in the kitchen but it's on a fuse switch not a normal plug.
We currently have a gas oven so there is a gas supply.
As the new PartP regs say you can't do electrics in your own kitchen anymore, who can actually install the dual fuel cooker?

I expect some plumbers will do both electrics and gas however if your confident in wiring in the oven yourself just do it!, its not like your rewiring your house!
I have rewired a few things in my kitchen a few months ago but to anyone else they were all installed before part p was introduced!!!!!!0 -
i think the new regs on gas installation now mean you have to inform the local authority if you have a new gas appliance installed even if it is replacing an existing applianceDogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. Hi,
Canucklehead can probably answer this better than I can but...
If the existing one is "hard piped" as in, it's not on a bayonet fitting, then you will need a CORGI registered installed to alter the pipework accordingly. If it's on a bayonet already then you can do it yourself but if it's been there a while I'd advise getting it tested for leaks just in case.
On the electrical side you only need Part P if you do work behind the wall fitting, to replace the fitting or what's attached to it you shouldn't need to do anything other than take care.
