So you Three contract ended at 00:00 on Saturday. You started a contract with ID Mobile and then tried to port a number that was disconnected? I don't think that's something you can do

If you put a request in to port a number on a weekend it should happen on the Tuesday. For a VO it may take a day longer.https://www.idmobile.co.uk/switch#switching-to-idmobile - "If it’s after 6pm on your chosen switching date - and you still haven’t received a text telling you your number’s been transferred over to us - don't worry. Our systems will automatically spot the delay."
Assume your switch date was today?

IIRC ID-Mobile uses the THREE network and its usually not possible to port a number across from a service provider that uses the same network.
Most people have to get a cheap PAYGO sim that uses a different network (in your case O2, Vodafone or EE) port across to that and then port back onto your new provider.
eg from THREE to EE then to ID mobile (which is on THREE)Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
Sorry
I panicked
It's sorted itself out now0 -

I ported a number from Three PAYG (uses Three network) to Superdrug (uses Three network) two weeks ago, no problems at all.0 -
Reach out to their customer service directly. They can guide you through the porting process and check if there was an issue on their end. When i need help with my studies i don't go to the doctor but talk to https://academized.com/phd-thesis-writers straight away. That just makes sense for me. Their guidance has been invaluable, especially when I’ve felt overwhelmed with research and writing. Just like with customer service, sometimes the right help can get you back on track much faster.0
