Reporting money and savings to UC

Hi, I am new to UC so don't understand how I report the amount I have in my current account. I will need to use all the money in there for living this month and none of it is savings.

I need to report a change on a couple of other accounts but the first question is asking how much I have in my current account.

Do I state how much is in there today? Or should I leave this as zero as I will be needing to use all that's in there?

If anyone can give me any clarity on this, that would be fantastic. Many thanks.

  • When you first claim, for some reason yes they do want to know how much you have altogether.

If you include it, does it take you over £6,000?

Are you doing a managed migration or just a completely new claim?
