I must admit it is very difficult to follow what you are trying to say but here's my take on it....
You worked for a company delivering food from a warehouse to various shops. For some reason it was your name and not the company's name on the invoices (which sounds like possible tax fraud to me). Despite working for them for 10 months you were only paid for 3 months work (more possible tax fraud). A year after you left and started working for someone else you have received a letter from a solicitor stating that you owe someone (the company?) £28k which you say is untrue. They have threatened that if you don't pay back this £28k they will lodge a CCJ against you.
If this is correct I think you need to get proper legal assistance. Your local Citizen's Advice might be able to help.
Should you get something by email or post that is a claim against you don't ignore it but get someone (even a friend or work colleague whose writing skills are a bit better than yours) to fill out the response and do ensure that you attend any court hearing. You should, I believe, be able to ask for the hearing to be held at a court local to you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards.
