Well unless they reject the chargeback, it will stay in your bank account.
Although do be aware that they can chase via legal means for the funds.

I have not experienced this yet with Vinted. However from what you have mentioned in your post, you have the chat history with Vinted as well as the authenticity proof from whomever you used. Therefore, let the chargeback happen and if there is any dispute from Vinted you can provide all of this proof to your bank.
Have you tried talking to a physical person from Vinted or is it all via the app?0 -

all they have to do is extend my return window, don’t even know why it’s got to this
You could rightfully argue "well I don't want to do a chargeback, I'd rather they just extended the return window" but I can see their T&C's they are very firm on return windows - e.g. under the return section:ImportantIf you miss the 3-day time frame or if we cannot offer you a refund, we’ll complete the order and release the payment to the seller.
I think you said they offered you 5 days but you requested more. Of course their terms are intended to support buyers and sellers.
Buying a designer bag off Vinted was a bit naive. I believe they run a paid Item Verification service - did you not use it? If you ended up paying to have it verified anyway, I'm suprised you passed this up.
Is there anyone you know that has a key to your house that could return this for you?
Unrelated, using the bundles is funny, I imagine it was something like this:
Designer bag £800
Bundle offer - buy 4 items from this seller, save 25%.
Designer bag £800, plain top £2, earrings £2, tie £4
Total: £606 (includes 25% discount on £808)
My wife likes sights like Luxecollective (certainly not immune from fakes, but it's not a cesspit of fakes like Vinted).,Know what you don't0 -

There will be people out their making a living out of buying stuff of DHgate and the like and reselling it on Vinted/eBay/Facebook.Know what you don't0 -

There is a cost to a business to doing this though. Their admin time is not free, they have to pay employees.
It's much more likely they'd appeal the chargeback, perhaps on the basis you agreed to their Ts & Cs and then didn't return within the window,0 -
Well I really don’t want to be sued, but if say the investigation from my bank was found in my favour (with all the evidence that vinted and I supply) do Vinted have a leg to stand on?0

So Vinted, unless they can get it back from seller. Have every right to claim the funds back. Even if they are counterfeit.
If they reject the chargeback, as they can in 45 days. You would be redebited anyway.
Your best bet is to get brand owner to confirm they are counterfeit. As that would give bank a right to go back, if you are redebited.
As well as a possible out if Vinted did take it to court.Life in the slow lane0 -

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
