Terms and Conditions for the Global Standard gGmbH Prize Competition “Behind the seams”
1. Organiser
The prize competition “Behind the seams” is organised by:

2. Eligibility
- The competition is open to individuals who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
- Employees of Global Standard gGmbH and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
- Participants must register on the website behindtheseams.eco to be eligible for the competition.
3. Competition Period
- The competition will run from 2nd September 2024 to 30th September 2024.
4. Participation and Scoring
- Participants can register at any time during the competition period but can only earn points for questions answered after registration.
- A new question will be posted daily on the website behindtheseams.eco during the competition period.
- Each correct answer earns the participant one point.
- The maximum number of points a participant can earn is 29, which corresponds to correctly answering a question each day from 2nd September to 30th September.
5. Prize and Winner Selection
- The main prize is a two-night trip to Paris, France for the winner and a guest, including:
- Accommodation in a sustainable hotel.
- One evening dining at a restaurant.
- A private fitting session for a GOTS-certified jacket (for the winner only).
- Train travel to Paris from mainland Spain, Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Luxemburg and the United Kingdom for the winner and their guest.
- On 1st October 2024, the winner will be drawn from a pool where each point earned by a participant represents one entry.
- The maximum number of entries a participant can have is 29.
6. Notification of Winner
- The winner will be notified via the email address provided during registration.
- If the winner does not respond within 7 days of the notification, Global Standard gGmbH reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
- Personal data of the participant will be solely used for the purpose of administering the competition and be deleted once the competition and the selection of the winner has been completed. Additionally our privacy policy https://global-standard.org/privacy-policy applies.
8. General Conditions
- Global Standard gGmbH reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the competition if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Global Standard gGmbH’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the competition.
9. Legal
- These terms and conditions are governed by German law.
- If individual provisions of these terms and conditions are or become invalid or contradict legal regulations, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. In such cases, the statutory regulations shall apply.
