YOPA very unsatisfactory level of service

A common theme with YOPA is once you sign up for the pay later marketing contract with YOPA knowing they have your money in the bag payable with or without sale after 10 months so the promises fall by the way side.  We have had 1 viewing in 5 months and the feedback to that viewing took over a month to receive in full from YOPA despite many requests.  We had one potential buyer ask for a Saturday morning appointment to which we agreed but YOPA said to the potential buyer we the sellers could not make it (A lie) which we found out when the buyer knocked on our door.  The buyer was disgusted with YOPA for this action but the question is how many other potential buyers have been treated in this way without our knowledge. Saturday mornings seem a problem for them to attend.  We have been given a new YOPA estate agent who said the original appointed YOPA estate agent set the wrong price.  We have had none of the fortnightly market conditions reviews.  It takes many weeks even to get a response so all in all we have never received the service promised.  I have the messages on my phone showing the questions we have asked and evidence of the long response times and the buyer who knocked on the door is going to complain to YOPA in writing for lying and will send us a copy.  My question is do I have grounds to pull out of this guaranteed payment contract with YOPA due to the awful and often lack of service provided?
Thanks

    guaranteed payment contract

What does the contract say? You agreed to a guaranteed payment, i would say the fact they have marketed the property and you have had a viewing means they have met the terms unless the terms state a quantitative figure on viewings.

If you have only had 1 viewing then i would think the property is overpriced.
  • Plus of course many buyers know how terrible YOPA support is so don't waste their time viewing Yopa-advertised properties.
Walk away and pay for a proper service/

Yopa get paid by Duologi on first day of marketing.  They dont tell the customer this.  They dont have to adhere to duty of care to a customer because they have been paid.  Duologi then chase the payment even though a customer has no loan or finance agreement with Duologi.  Rogue cowboys.  They need to be addressed about creating a credit agreement on behalf of the custoner without the customers knowledge.  On t&cs it says pay later not that there is any financisl agreement.  What EA gets paid on day 1?

I had a great experience with Yopa 3 years ago. The local rep worked all hours to give good service so it's not all bad

We too were delighted with our service from YOPA.  I suppose it depends on what agent you get.
