Connecting my Wireless printer to my router

Hey all, I recently brought a laptop (well 2days ago) and also recently brought a wireless router (well yesterday), and i was woundering if it was at possible if I could connect my printer (which is network compatable) to my router, therefore enabling me to use my printer any where in the house wirelessly.

I brought the following router:

Please help me?

Which printer? is the obvious first question.

  • A wireless print server for USB or for ethernet enabled should do the trick

Some printers come with WiFi built in, what exactly did you mean "which is network compatible"?

    So why can't you:
Connect straight to your Network with the built in 10/100 rj45 connector

e.g. connect it to your router.

which part of my router do I connect it to?

is it the ethernet plug in where I connect my main computer to? (as I have 4 in total, and one is connected to my computer and the others are spare )

IF SO, i have done that, now what?

That's it. You just need to install the printer's software on your pc/laptop. When you get to the bit about how is your printer connected, choose network instead of direct. It'll look for it. If it doesn't find it then you need to alter your firewall. That'll depend on what firewall you've got.
