The mystery vanishing car insurer

After another insulting increase from Aviva, time to move on. A week ago I ran quotes through Meerkat and Confused, and LV showed up as a decent option. I also ran a quote directly on their website at that time, similar price, all good. Today, I set aside some time to put this to bed, but LV no longer appears on either comparison site. I then ran another full quote on their website and they said they can’t insure us. What’s changed in the last week? Certainly nothing at our end.

The comparison sites rerun the quotes when you click on an old email, and it looks like I didn't save the LV one. Oh well, their loss.
