Hello all,
I've read several threads and references to NEWBIE thread. Have searched for this but cannot find it. Would someone be kind enough to post a link to it? Thank you.
I received a PCN as a keeper. The elderly driver (not named) overstayed the 10 minute grace period (they picking someone up who'd bought ice-cream), by one minute. I used the template letter and appealed which was rejected.
I have attempted to register a further appeal with IAS. However, it doesn't recognise the PCN number etc and advises me to contact Excel. They only have a postal address. Should I contact them this way? The number I have found is automated and there is no human to speak to, in order to get the correct details to register with IAS.
I'd be grateful for any advice.
Thank you.

Your appeal to Excel was plan B, especially because you were not the driver , probably no keeper liability due to non compliance with POFA
Ideally you complain about the PCN to Iceland, to their CEO if necessary, Richard Walker, with proof of patronage plus copies of receipts or redacted bank statements etc, getting the dog to stop the wagging tail ! Plan A
Look near the top of the parking forum near where you started this thread, below the banners, for the half a dozen announcements, its definitely there, it always is, it's been there over a decade or more2 -
There are 2 links on every page, taking you to page one. My signature tells every new poster where one is and what it looks like. The words below are under every post I make, to inform NEWBIES and to stop them thinking they have to search for a pinned Announcement thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD1 -
Have found thread! Thank you all.
Have complained to Iceland CEO - still waiting to hear back.
Will read rest of thread to figure out the IAS question

Have read the thread. Thank you all for all that you do.
Ok, will not bother with IAS.
We've already complained to the store manager who were unhelpful and shrugged their shoulders.
I've emailed their CEO and waiting.
Hoping to hear from them soon and will also include the iceland letter on the other thread.
Other than that, I have to wait for the county court date, is that correct?0 -

There are many hurdles to overcome for both sides before any civil court hearing
You should be concentrating everything into getting head office to cancel the PCN, nothing else matters
You ignore the powerless debt collectors letters
You come back to this thread either with a successful cancellation, and meanwhile come back here if you receive
1) a letter of claim ( within the next 6 years. )
Followed by
2) A court claim pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL ( within the next 6 years. )1
