MBNA

Options
What are typical BT offers for MBNA, I have a card from them with 11k limit and it will soon be down to zero outstanding. Just wondering what are their typical offers at the moment it is showing me 12 months with a 5% fee. I would not be interested in that. Just wanted to know if they will offer better or if I am better off closing.

That's the same deal I'm showing on 2 of their cards.

  • I'm the same 12 months with 5% - won't be using it because I have cheaper/longer options elsewhere.

Ok, thanks both I think when I got it they offered 14 months with 3% fee. I will likely get rid off.

The one useful MBNA offer (a money transfer offer for using as a mule card) seems to have been discontinued.  I'm also tempted to get rid of the card.

I'm getting BT and MT offers at 5% for 12 months, but I'm also getting offers with no fee at 5.9% apr for 24 months

    None of them very appealing.

What's 'typical' will depend on the individual I'd have thought.

I'm certainly seeing better offers (lower rates, longer periods) than those mentioned above.

Give us a clue then - if you are getting better current offers from MBNA, what are they?

    MT - 5% / 15 months

    BT -  4.5% / 15 months

Seeing as you asked so nicely...
