Already planning your Christmas calendar? It may still be a few weeks away but we’re embracing our inner elf and going full steam ahead now that Northampton and Lamport Railway have opened bookings on their Santa Special, with a family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children to giveaway. Choo choo!

Time to get into the Christmas spirit (yes, already!) with an unforgettable family experience aboard the gorgeous Northampton and Lamport Railway. It’s a steam-powered seasonal spectacular like no other, and one that will bring joy across the generations.

The NLR follows the old Northampton to Market Harborough railway line along a two mile route, linking Pitsford, Chapel Brampton and Boughton. All trains run ‘out and back’, so you alight at the same place you get on board.

Your tickets will include a meeting with Santa, a present for the children and refreshments on board a train pulled by a shiny steam locomotive. Grown-ups can enjoy a glass of sherry and a mince pie, whilst the kids tuck into sweet treats and juice.

On board, children can write their letters to Santa, then afterwards meet the big man in his workshop for a special treat. It’s sure to be a magical experience.

Need to Know

Closing date for entries is 6 Oct 2024. 

Prize is for up to 2 adults and up to 2 children (16 and under).

The winner may choose the date of their visit, subject to availability, from the following dates: 1, 7 or 8 Dec only. 

The winner must contact Northampton and Lamport Railway directly to arrange booking book and to confirm age/sex of each child (to ensure appropriate gift).
