Obviously, although difficult for you as a wheelchair user, you've decided you're able to manage a holiday so have to make detailed plans.
Fortunately, as you're retired, you have plenty of time before the holiday.
My idea was that you could leave the day before the holiday in the morning. Your driver could take you to an accessible hotel close to the airport and then drive back to the ferry on the same day. Then, unless the hotel doesn't provide a shuttle service, you'd need an accessible taxi to take you to the airport.0
