Learn direct, Consumer rights

Hi, I'm looking for some advise please.
I signed up for a course with animal courses direct (Learn direct) in March 2023. The course was a Level 2 course, ofqual approved. I completed the course within 3 months, all my work has been marked & passed by the tutor, it just needs to be moderated. Moderation will only be done after I had completed paying for the course.
I completed paying for the course via monthly installments in April 2024.
I have been in regular contact with the company via email since then to ask when my work would be moderated & to find out when I would likely receive my certificate. The customer service isn't great at all, they are polite but they never give a definite answer! What should my next step be with the company? Can I state the consumer rights Act? As I haven't received the complete service I paid for? I don't want my money back,  I just want my certificate for the course I have completed  & paid for.
Advice would be very much appreciated

CRA section 52 requires that services are performed within a reasonable time:

The moderation will not be carried out by Animal Courses Direct themselves; I expect it will be done by the awarding body who will actually provide the level 2 certificate and enter you onto their database.

You could ask that entity how long moderation takes.
If they say six weeks, then two months might be a reasonable time between paying for the course in April and Animal Courses Direct sending you your certificate, allowing a little time for administration.
If they moderate that course twice a year in (say) March and September then it would be reasonable for ACD to send your certificate early next month.

Many thanks for your reply, Yes I understand that the moderation is carried out externally. Your reply has been very helpful. I will email them next week to find out how long the moderation process takes & when it was carried out.
    Your response is appreciated

Did you get your certificate? I came across this post and I have been waiting for mine 6 months. They keep fobbing me off with longer times and have now said July which will be 9 months post course completion. Ive actually lost jobs because of them not supplying it. They say it takes 6 months for the awarding body to do the EQA checks but the awarding body told me its because Learn Direct have not claimed the credits for my course, whatever that means.
