To celebrate EE Game Day 2024, EE is transforming the UK into the world’s biggest gaming arcade and offering the opportunity to win thousands of gaming prizes via EE Game Store, ahead of some of the biggest game releases of 2024.
For 1 day only, four bespoke mobile games will be live across select digital out-of-home advertising sites, all EE Retail stores nationwide, on Tik Tok and at Brighton Pier, with players having the unique chance to win thousands of prizes from EE Game Store.
Alongside this, Sidemen’s Josh, Tobi and Ethan will be livestreaming the EE Game Chest Hunt via Twitch at 5pm from EE’s Fortnite Island.

- To play this game you’ll need the TikTok app downloaded to your phone. By downloading the app you’re accepting the TikTok T&Cs.

EE Moonshot Mission
- In EE Moonshot Mission, you’re aiming to collect 12 batteries and power the rocket to win an EE Chest Code.
- Once you’re in our Tik Tok Effect: EE Game Day, select to record a video for 60 seconds and hit the on screen record button to start the game.
- The robot is controlled by moving your head from left to right to pick up batteries. Make sure to avoid the bars and grates or you will lose batteries!
- Once you reach the launch pad your batteries will offload into the rocket. If successful, your rocket will fly to the moon and your EE Chest Code will appear, but only once you stop recording (so your followers don’t see your code!).
- Make sure to screen shot your code, then search EE Game Day in your web browser. Next, enter your EE Chest Code on the website and find out if you’ve won!
- If unsuccessful, your rocket will fall. Click start again to retry!
EE Cross Country Run / EE Wembley Goal Run
- For these two games, you are aiming to beat the clock!
- There are two different themes:
o EE Cross Country Run - race through the four nations of the UK within the time limit, dodging obstacles as you go, to claim your EE Chest Code
o EE Wembley Goal Run - dodge and dive the opposition on the pitch at Wembley Stadium, connected by EE, to reach the goal! Do it within the time limit to claim your EE Chest Code.
- You are aiming to beat the timer to win an EE Chest Code, however you can also collect coins in order to charge the EE Turbo bar and gain yourself power ups to help you win. Good luck!
Instructions:
- You will see 3,2,1 GO and then the game will start, your character will move and stop at obstacles to teach you how to move. Once all the moves are learnt the timer will appear and you’re off!
1) Swipe left and right to change lanes
2) Swipe up to jump over obstacles
3) Swipe down to slide under obstacles
4) Double tab to activate turbo speed when your bar is full. When using turbo mode, the bar will drain, so you’ll need to keep collecting coins to charge it up!
- Don’t worry as there will be power ups to collect along the way to help you.
- The timer runs for 2 minutes.
- If successful, your EE Chest Code will appear when you reach the finish line. Click redeem to reach the EE store, enter your EE Chest Code and find out if you’ve won!
- If unsuccessful, click try again to retry.
EE Gull Bop
- In this augmented reality game, taking over Brighton Pier, you are aiming to collect 500 points within the 30 second timer in order to earn your EE Chest Code to be in with a chance of winning a prize!
- Once you’ve scanned the QR code at Brighton Pier using your smartphone device, follow instructions to hover your phone to scan the building and start game.
- Before the game launches, you will be asked to provide permission for your device camera to be accessed. This will only be in use while playing the game.
- Bop the EE-Gull that appears to earn points. Warning! If you bop the fish, points will be deducted!
- If successful, your EE Chest Code will appear, click redeem to reach the EE store and find out if you’ve won!
- If unsuccessful, click play again to retry.
EE Game Chest Hunt
- Twelve EE Game Chests are hidden in our EE Game Day Fortnite Island.
- You must first find the chest and then enter the EE Chest Code on the EE Game Day Page at store.ee.co.uk/gameday. You will win the prize if you are the first to enter a given EE Chest Code, so the race is on!
- To play the game, there will be a series of mini game challenges to earn coins. You can then use these coins in the shop to buy power ups that will aid your search in finding an EE Game Chest.
- The stream will last for approximately 90 minutes and will be hosted by Sidemen’s Josh, Tobi and Ethan.
- The stream will be live on Twitch from 5pm, on @Zerkaa channel where the stream will be hosted.
- You can join the game and play along in Fortnite or just spectate on the stream as there are prize giveaways on stream too. If you join the game, make sure to have Fortnite downloaded and refreshed in good time and be quick to enter. You might just make it in the Sidemen party map!
- Keep an eye on the stream because if any chests have not been claimed by the end, we will leave the Island map open for a month, until 7th October 2024, for remaining chests to be claimed.
