These UEFA Nations League terms and conditions, along with the ITV’s General Competition, Prize Draw, Vote and Poll Terms and Conditions, available here, (“General Terms”), apply to the Competition (defined below).

 

Who can enter:

 

The Competition (defined below) in relation to the UEFA Nations League programme (the “Programme”) are open to entrants who are: (a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the competition period and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, companies within the ITV group of companies, STV Group PLC or are an immediate family member of the same (including any live-in partner); and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Competitions (defined below).

 

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the prize.

 

By entering the Competition, you confirm the following:
●    You are 18 years or over and are a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man resident at the time of entry and of closing of the Competition;
●    You do not work for and are not related to anyone who works for ITV or STV;
●    You have read and you accept these UEFA Nations League competitions terms and conditions;
●    You have read and you accept the General Terms; and
●    You consent for your name, general location, details of the prize(s) that you have won to be announced in the Programme, on the Website, on social media platforms and/or elsewhere at the Promoter’s discretion. This is in addition to the Promoter’s rights under clause 9.5 of the General Terms.

 

Opening/closing date & time:

 

The competition opens for entries online via the www.itv.com/win and www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) on Friday 6 September 2024 and closes for entries online at 9.15pm on Tuesday 10 September 2024 (the “Competition”).

 

You must: (i) complete your entry within five (5) minutes from clicking the ‘Enter Online Now’ button; and (ii) start your entry before the closing date and time of the Competition, otherwise you will not be able to complete your entry and you will not have entered the Competition.

 

How to enter & cost of entry

 

To enter the Competition, visit the Website and follow the instructions. In order to enter the Competition, you will need to register or log on to the Website.

You will have thirty (30) seconds (“Time Limit”) to answer one (1) multiple-choice question (“Quiz”). When you are ready to confirm your answer, click the ‘Submit’ button (“Answer”). You will only be able to attempt the Quiz once per Competition. For the avoidance of doubt, all entrants will be presented with the same question.

 

Please note that once you begin the Quiz, you cannot cancel, pause or navigate away from your Competition entry and you will not be entered into the Competition.

If you Answer within the Time Limit, you will be asked whether you would like to proceed to payment to enter into the prize draw (“Prize Draw”) for a chance to win the prize as described below (“Prize”). If you fail to Answer within the Time Limit, you will not be able to enter the Prize Draw.  

 

If you wish to enter into the Prize Draw, you will be invited to submit your full name and county and proceed to payment to complete your Competition entry.

 

You must complete your Competition entry via the Website within five (5) minutes of clicking the ‘Enter Online Now’ button. You should ensure that you have an adequate internet connection before entering the Competition. If you lose your internet connection, close or refresh your browser at any point whilst making your Competition entry, or click ‘Back’ between starting the Competition and making payment, you will not be entered into the Competition, you will not be able to start your entry again and you will not be able to participate in the Competition.

 

Winner selection & contact:

 

The Prize Draw will take place shortly after the closing time for all entries on the closing date of the Competition.

 

Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry with the correct Answer drawn at random from all eligible and correct entries for the Prize Draw will win the Prize. The winner will be announced live on TV on the Programme on Tuesday 10 September 2024 however, please note that any public announcement made regarding the winner (including on ITV properties (TV, online etc.) is pending verification unless otherwise stated and should not be considered final confirmation.

 

As the Prize is time critical, the winner will be contacted in accordance with Clause 5.2 of the General Terms. All entrants must be contactable on Wednesday 11 September 2024 and Thursday 12 September 2024.

 

If no eligible and correct entries are made for the Prize Draw by the close date of the Competition, the Prize Draw will not take place and the Prize will not be awarded to any entrant.

 

Please note that the correct Quiz answer will only be revealed after the closing date and time of the Competition. For the avoidance of doubt, entrants who completed their Competition entry will be charged whether they answered the Quiz correctly or incorrectly.

 

Contingency

 

If the winner: (i) is not contactable on the dates as shown above; (ii) does not meet the eligibility requirements; (iii) is not able to accept the prize for whatever reason; and/or (iii) cannot provide all correct and valid documentation required within a timely manner of being contacted by the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify the winner, in which case the Promoter will offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant until a winner is found.

 

If the winning entrant entered a name that the Promoter deems, at its sole discretion, to be fake or rude, the name of the entrant will not be announced in the Programme.

 

In the event that the Programme is rescheduled and/or is cancelled for any reason, the name of the winner will be announced on the Website.  

 

Cost of entry

 

A single entry costs £2.00. Paid and free entry bundles may be offered from time to time as stated on the Website. You may enter via the following routes (as available on the Website): 
o    Entry Credits: any Entry Credits won through a ‘Winsday’ prize draw which are sitting in your itv.com/win account will be automatically used to enter this Prize Draw before any other online paid entry routes are available to you.

o    PayPal: follow the instructions on the Website.
o    Apple Pay: follow the instructions on the Website.

You will also receive one (1) ticket to participate in the ’Winsday‘ prize draw for every one (1) paid entry.

Prize:

 

The prize consists of £20,000 and four (4) tickets to the game England v Greece on Thursday 10 October 2024 (the “Prize”). 

(i) £20,000 cash 

This element of the Prize consists of £20,000 (twenty thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only.

 

The Promoter endeavours to pay the cash prize to the winner’s nominated bank account within seven (7) days from the date of winner contact, subject to the winner providing the relevant details to the Promoter (unless there is a delay due to circumstances outside of the Promoter’s control, including but not limited to the winner not providing a bank account held directly in their own name within a timely manner of being contacted by the Promoter).

(ii) Tickets to the game England v Greece

 

This element of the Prize consists of four (4) hospitality tickets for the winner and up to three (3) companion(s) to attend the football game England v Greece scheduled to start a 7.45pm on Thursday 10 October 2024 at Wembley, London. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and their companion(s) are available to take the prize on the relevant dates.

 

The tickets include a table of four (4) in Wembley Stadium’s Bobby Moore lounge for the game, a four-course à la carte meal with a fully inclusive drinks package (Laurent-Perrier Champagne, beers, wines and soft drinks), seats located on the halfway line behind the players’ dugouts, access to the stadium three hours prior to kick-off and an hour post-match.

 

Please note that under 2 years old are not permitted inside the stadium. Where the winner’s companion is aged under 18 years old, the companion must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the winner when taking up the prize. It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion when taking up the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

The winner and their companion(s) acknowledge that in the event that the game England v Greece does not take place as specified for any reason, the Promoter does not accept responsibility in these circumstances and, at the Promoter’s discretion and subject to availability, the winner may receive tickets to another England game taking place at Wembley Stadium (which may be in 2025).

 

Tickets are not transferable and cannot be re-sold, or exchanged. If tickets have been found to have done so, they will be cancelled.

 

The prize excludes accommodation, transportation to and from the stadium, meals and drinks (other than those specified above), car hire, travel insurance, personal expenses and any other element not expressly set forth above.

 

The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to positively amend the prize during the Competition period by either: (i) increasing the amount of a cash prize; and/or (ii) offering additional prize(s).
