Disillusioned at work

Bit of a random one but changed job around 3 months ago and haven't settled well at all. Dread going in most days.

Not in a position to just leave as bills to pay etc so will suck it up and carry on.

Anyone else ever been in a similar position?

I have gone it at a senior(ish) level and had very little onboarding and just found it hard to get going.

You say you've only been there for 3 months, so given your last thread referred to a job you'd started in late April, is this another new job? Hopefully not, although if it's the same job, you've obviously not settled.

How clearly have you made it known that you'd like more onboarding, albeit rather late in the day? Employers - especially chaotic ones - aren't mind readers, and assuming that something is obvious, or 'they must know' is never going to solve the issue.

Can you work out (at least in your own mind) why this is going so badly, and whether there's any likelihood of things improving? If not, then looking for another job before you get into a really bad downward spiral looks like the only answer.
