Cannot remember my Mac or apple id

I have been locked out cannot use my Mac and cannot remember my apple if. Is there a way I could reset? Thinking if taking it to computer shop, will they be able to reset it pm?

I have tried no joy but have reset my icloud password. It’s the password to log in on the Mac that I cannot reset. Took it to the computer shop and was told he will erase the hard drive but he still cannot do it which I find surprising. He said he will keep trying sometimes he has to try several times. Do not know what else to do. It’s the right password unless it is a virus,Thanks

The problem with posting such requests on a forum is that we have no way of knowing if this is your computer or not.

And nobody should want to help someone "break into" someone elses computer.

Stick with the computer shop who can (should) verify that it does belong to you.
