Lockerbie Home Bargains PARKING FINES. PARKING EYE.

I live Spain and on a driving holiday trip to Lockerbie in my Spanish car we went into Home Bargins.and nowhere else.
Unfortunately we were like kids in a sweet shop trying to stock up on none available items in Spain.
We have received a beautiful picture of our car, ES number plate about 4 weeks after we got back to our Spanish address, from a German company allied to Parking eye. The letter had a Swedish postal stamp on it.
I had the receipt from Home Bargin store that I scanned and sent them. The time stamp on the receipt was 5 minutes or so before they clocked us out of the car park.
The parking fine company said that showing a receipt from Home Bargains was not sufficient for them to deny their claim.
And then said that they have extended their half price payment for another 35 days.
So they have used the ANPR to contact the Spanish authorities for my address.
Just as an aside, we are both 79 years old and dashing around to get all the shopping done in their claimed 1½ hours parking allowance time, I wish. I think a bit of negative publicity will be possible, not that the parking company will be bothered.
€75, until the 35 days have gone.

Question for the regular posters here:
How did ParkingEye get data of a Spanish registered car? There's no reciprocal agreement between countries to do this and we aren't in the EU.
Anyway this happened in Scotland so TOTALLY IGNORE THE LETTERS.
Stop replying. Ignore the demands. Perfectly safe. Yes you can visit Scotland again.
NOTHING WILL HAPPEN.
IT IS A SCAM.
DO NOT PAY.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
