Carflow PCN in disabled parking spot at Cambridge leisure

Hi, I've followed this forum and successfully swerved a railway apcoa ticket before.
This one looks harder though, I was at Cambridge leisure with my disabled daughter in a disabled spot outside Cambridge junction. It didn't occur to me to check further as I've never known a disabled spot to be chargeable in Cambridge, however having googled the sign it does state no exceptions for disabled parking.
I understand carflow are hard to beat and it looks like I'm banged to rights in this instance, is it worth appelaing with the standard template or just cough up?
TIA, Andy

Can we see the back please? I think I need a Carflow one for my NTK pictures thread.
Do NOT use a template for Carflow.
Send them a copy of the Blue Badge with a short explanation and a cheque or PO for £6 because (on the right of that page...look) that is what this NTK says is payable! Tell them this is full and final settlement because that is the 'sum payable' stated in this letter.
THEN IGNORE THEM.
You have to treat Carflow differently.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

As above
Carflow often work with an individual appeal4 -
Back as requested.

Many thanks, I'll give that a try.1

Fair play to Carflow, I emailed as suggested and didn't expect too much, but they cancelled this one and another for the same location. I obviously won't make that same mistake there again but they were more understanding than I'd anticipated.

This will be because they saw the case in this forum and recognised the case. They won't want the hassle. Glad it worked for you!
It was right NOT to use a template appeal for Carflow.
They are 'different' in that respect and are worth a 'normal' mitigating appeal (as your case proves) but IMHO the people who run that firm don't come across as the nicest. There was also a suspicion that a PPC poster who used to post here was from that firm.
I consider them a fairly nasty, aggressive firm. You did well to swerve them. And they swerved the hassle of a forum defence later on, had they sued you in the end.
Let's take it as a win-win situation!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi would you mind sharing the appeal you sent, I’ve just received a ticket as like you didn’t realise with blue badge we had to pay, never had any issues previously parking here and stayed for under two hours with my disabled son with blue badge clearly displayed 🤦🏻♀️0

Just had the same ticket myself.
Couldn't see the signs as it was pitch black, machine covered in plastic bag so not working, no sign to say you must pay via the app, I've got a blue badge...
Appealed it and told me tough I've got to pay. They also said they win 94% of appeals plus they're not associated to any ombudsman, diabolical con artist.
How to put people off from visiting the area.
I'll let them take me to court I think0 -

Please show us that letter where they said this.
On this thread is fine as it is a Carflow thread and recent so it will inform the OP.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
