My Warm Home Discount of £150 was paid into my EON account last week. I'm in the 'core 2' group."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0

Mum has had her WHD applied to her OvO electricity but they’ve taken vat at 5% so she has a credit of approx £142.
Should OvO have taken this?Perhaps I’m looking at the bill incorrectly.
Has anyone else had this?Grocery spends £193.44/ £70 per week or £303 per month0 -
OVO made what might have been a multiple-million-pound mistake last year when calculating the VAT on the WHD. They had already issued 200,000 rebates by the time it was discovered. The rules are clear [Regs 10(3)(a)]:
(3) The scheme electricity supplier must provide the prescribed rebate to a core group customer by—
(a) crediting to the customer’s electricity account an amount as a result of which the amount (including Value Added Tax) charged to the customer is reduced by the amount of the prescribed rebate,OVO elected to show this on bills in the ugliest way possible, but the result is right: the bill containing the discount is £150 lower than it would have been had the discount not been there.
I'm not being lazy ...
I'm just in energy-saving mode.1
