i would like a small freeview lcd for my bedroom
would the tv andfree view work off a portable ariel or am i wasting my money?
we do get free fiew in my area(so they say)

A number of posters on here don't recommend internal aerials for freeview unless you live in an exceptionally strong freeview reception area, and I am in agreement with them. If you have an existing aerial, you may be able to split the signal,

You'd be much better off connecting to a proper roof aerial, I wouldn't at all recommended an indoor internal aerial for freeview even in a good signal region, the minimum is a decent loft aerial in my experience.
