Morning all for a currently sunny Mehefinland
Had to pop into the village for a prescription and met an ex neighbour who was visiting some rellies. Had to go through the tale again! ( A good friend cheekily said I ought to make some flash cards. As time goes on I sometimes think there is some merit in that idea).
As usual the pharmacy didn't have everything and one item in particular is on back order - again!
Called in post office to get large envelope for the massive form plus all the other bumph the civil service pension people want. Crazy what they ask for.
Wombled some cooking apples left by a gate on the way back- peeled, sliced and froze some of them.
We are supposed to be having heavy rain in the next 24 hrs. That will play havoc with the BBQ up the road, and the village Fete on Saturday. Think I will be giving them both a miss.
Any one seen Nan?
Hugs and spoons as always

Morning everyone I’m dosed up with paracetamol again but I think I’m getting there my chest isn’t as bad and I’ve had a slow walk out with the dog and hubby just to see if some fresh air would help I’m floored now though but it has cleared my head a bit I’ve never had a day off work in my life and I feel guilty missing my cleaning jobs but I couldn’t physically do them but I would have only been spreading my germs I’m going to try and not go back to bed today. Gers hope you are feeling a bit better DP1 poor little mite she’s definitely going through the mill I bet her poor mam is worried sick I’m keeping everything crossed they get her sugars sorted and she can come home I’m sorry I’m still not thinking straight I can’t remember what is happening with everyone but I will keep reading along. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing8

@Izzy - good that you got some fresh air, even a little can help. No need to feel guilty about being ill!@Mehefin - pharmacies are having real trouble with buying in a whole load of medicines, the supply chain is under such pressure. Earlier this year I had to have a change of med as it couldn't be sourced anywhere in Scotland.@SO - I still have my very late Dad's season pass for the Glasgow Garden Festival which was held in 1988, it's so nice to see him being hale and active aged 73. He died at 81 years. Keep enjoying the photo of your beloved OH.Welcome back @TA, it's lovely that you and the family are still so happy to be together.@Snoozer - I'm sure that Esben will get a lot out of school, and be whacked at the end of the day.@DP1 - my heart is with your little one. After my nail appointment I decided to risk a shopping trip to Oban to pick up some bland food. Made it there and back OK.7

Hi everyone,
Sorry to hear you’re still not 100% @Gers – sending healing vibes x
Poor DD and DGD must be so drained @dp1 – hope there’s some positive news soon x
Sending positive thoughts to all those with worries or are sad right now. You are not alone xx
I’m at a WI committee meeting tonight. Hoping to continue to attend even when we’ve moved (which may be before Christmas with any luck). DH is getting our suitcases down from the loft tonight so we can start packing for our trip to Crete next week.
Hope Esben has a fab first day at school @snoozer x

@silver-oldie - My sisters and I made a shadow box for my father and for my uncle using old picture frames and document type things about them. A bus pass with his picture would go nicely in a frame with other items.3
