Parking eye parking charge notice at Home Bargains

Hi all. Frustrating situation for me as im sure everyones is but ive received a fine from Shrewsbury Home Bargains for a 5 hour 20 minute stay!!!!!! Well, it should go without saying that I didnt stay for that long and if I had I certainly wouldnt be writing this as Im a fair person and Id take the hit!

In a nutshell I have no argument with the notice stating I arrived at 07:51 and I also accept that I left at 13:11 on the same day, the anpr pictures would be hard to argue that as its there in photo evidence! but heres the problem..........

I parked up, I stayed absolutely no longer than the given 2 hours.. Probably 1 hour 45 max. I cant prove this but it was definitely within the time limit as I was constantly aware and made sure I moved within time. I then parked elsewhere. I parked back in the carpark around 12:30 before leaving at the again undisputed time of 13:11.

2 seperate events that have not been acknowledged by this fine. They have treated it as one parking stint of 5 hours!

My question is ( I did have a brief look and couldnt see anything in the small print unless I missed it. I will go and look but Im asking here in case anyone knows)

Is there a 'Do not return for......period generally with this company or would it be individually based ( i doubt it, Id guess each location would be a standard time)

And, shouldnt their system show 2 seperate parkings rather than an incorrect total for the day?

Im fair. If Im wrong ill pay it but it doesnt seem right to me?

Thank you

It's called an ANPR double dip. A complete scam but easy to resolve.

Does the ParkingEye Notice to Keeper (NtK) actually state which Home Bargains in Shrewsbury? PE have a habit of only stating "Home Bargains, Shrewsbury" without defining exactly which store. This is a failure to fully comply with all the requirements of PoFA by not defining the relevant land.

It does state the exact store yes.
  • I have a praking eye ticket from abbey foregate shrewsbury as well. I listened to these people on the forum and didn’t pay my fine. I didn’t know it was sunday and stayed at the parking lot for 28 minutes. I should have just paid. Everyone says lookup in the forum. I looked up and couldn’t find anything here. I should have just paid the initial 60. Now its 170 and going to collection

No idea what that means, sorry. Nobody says that. They DO say 'read the NEWBIES thread' so please do that before posting a new thread.

You don't even have a fine. It's not a fine.

The 4th post of the NEWBIES thread literally begs people not to start threads about tedious debt recovery demands you just ignore.  So please, no threads about £170 threatograms from DCB Ltd.
