Club Lloyds & changing your lifestyle benefit?

I've never had to do this myself but my sister is asking me now about changing her cinema vouchers to a Disney+ membership.

When going on the club lloyds website https://www.clublloyds.com/ there's the option to log in with username & password - username being your sort code & account number.

I've looked around & see absolutely nowhere to register, so how do you even get a password if you can't register (or seemingly can't register)? I've asked her & she doesn't remember registering at all on that website. Neither do I tbh although it's been a number of years since I started getting the cinema tickets so maybe I did. Still, it surprises me that I can't find an option to register / create a password.

So why the post?

Well I'm hoping others will know how you go about registering when I can't see the link on how to?
Can you change this benefit online (if you can get access that is!) or does it have to be over the phone?

Can't remember how we registered so can't help on that front. You can only change the benefit at the anniversary of (I think) your account opening, or some other spurious date they have decided is your anniversary. We normally get an email I think inviting us to review and change if we want to.

As said, you can only change the benefit at the anniversary, at which point they send you full log-in details for the site by email (or at least they've always sent me details).

Yeah she has a matter of days left before she's locked in on the cinema tickets again.

Mine are also due to renew. Although I'm keeping the tickets I see no login details. As I say, we all know what our username will be but I've no idea about my password - in that it's not that I've forgotten it, I just don't ever remember being in the position where I actively set one.

Put in username then forgot password and new one will be e-mailed instantly if they hold an e-mail address - I have just done it.  You can't choose a password, they set it.
0345 303 0303 is the Club Lloyds help number.

  • I received the renewal email recently.  It outlines the various options, and provides a link to 'take a closer look'.  When I click on that, it takes me to the Lifestyle Benefits webpage where I appear to be automatically logged in.

You can ring the Lifestyle Benefits team directly on 0345 303 0303.

Whenever I've needed to log in I've just reset my password.
  • Rather than start a new thread on Club Lloyds accounts, hope its OK if I can ask on here.

I am looking to open a new Club Lloyds account, mainly as my Disney Plus subscription is about to run out. I will not be opening for about another 4 weeks or so.

Has the 12 month subscription to Disney Plus been running for a while, or it it likely to get pulled soon. I have searched their website but it gives no real information on this

Also do you need to have 2 direct debits on account. I know it gives you credit interest if you do, but it is unclear whether you must have at least 2 direct debites

    Thanks in advance

It's an ongoing offer, could be pulled at any point but you'll have it for at least a year if it's the benefit you choose when you sign up.

No need for direct debits unless you want the interest (which isn't worth jumping through hoops for as it's a very low effective rate relative to currently available easy access rates).

It has been available just over a year, I think Aug 2023 was when it was launched. I don't see any reason they would pull the offer (but who knows)
Just so you're aware, there is a one month wait after opening a new Club Lloyds account and being able to activate the Disney + offer.

The direct debit requirement is only to qualify for receiving interest on money in the Club Lloyds account. There is no requirement for direct debits to be eligible for Disney + (or any of the other rewards)

The lifestyle benefit is a perk of holding the account, this doesn't change if you fail to meet the pay in or DD requirements or not. If you don't pay out 2x DDs in a given month then all that happens is that you don't get paid any interest on the account (not that the rate is competitive anyway).

As for Disney Plus, it's hard to say but I would think it's unlikely to be pulled without any sort of notice. It's been going for a year or two at this point, although they did downgrade the tier of the plan they offer last year from memory
