Nope, well yes (now you've said).Olinda99 said:I expect you know, but there is a Leeds (and a Leeds Castle) in Kent
I knew of Leeds in Yorkshire & Kent down south. Never heard of Leeds, Kent in my life nor Leeds Castle, Kent.0 -
Correct - in that you've got it wrong.Vectis said:B0bbyEwing said:I'll have a watch to sell soon enough which will be approx £200 in valueIt sounds, perhaps wrongly, that you're buying and selling items, otherwise how would the watch be ready shortly and not now if you have it in your possession? But, maybe I've just misunderstood that?If not, I think you need to reverse your original question and ask what makes people trust you not to be a scammer when you're buying, and then apply that logic to your own sales.Just ignore if I've read too much into that!
It'll be for sale soon as in when I get my backside in gear & get it listed, that's all I meant.0 -
Nope I wasn't aware of that.GabbaGabbaHey said:
As you are so afraid of being scammed. I assume that you are aware that providing your bank details (account number and sort code) to purchasers is much safer than accepting PayPal payments?B0bbyEwing said:So one of them pays me in full, no haggling at all. They pay a postage fee on top (all via PayPal whereas the guy wanted my bank details).
Their payment turned up in my PayPal but I did wonder how easily they could pull it back.
Their correspondence was also very rapid throughout, even when I notified them of a slight delay (communication being everything & all that) but the moment I told them it's now posted off they've gone silent.
Since I made this post I've had a number of contacts over this item & all potential buyers appear similar to each other which I find strange.
Maybe I'm reading too much in to it. Who knows.0 -

I knew of Leeds in Yorkshire & Kent down south. Never heard of Leeds, Kent in my life nor Leeds Castle, Kent.I unsuccessfully tried to get my brother to include Leeds Castle in his Yorkshire Tourist website project for University.Since we grew up in 'God's Country' he didn't fall for it.
May you find your sister soon Helli.
