Old Visa credit cards

Options
Hi, I have two receipts of old credit cards, but do not know the banks that they belong to. I have the credit card numbers which I used in 2003 and was wondering if there was an easy way of locating the bank by the first few digits of the card number?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

I believe the first 4 (or is it 6?) numbers identify the issuing institution. If you post them (first 4/6 only! ;)) I'm sure someone will recognise them.

Alternatively, the accounts (but not the numbers) may be listed on your credit report and so may jog your memory. Get a 30-day free trial or order your £2 copies from Experian & Equifax.
