Roof tile replacement

Hi
I have had an air vent fall off my roof, causing an open area to the loft. The previous owner of the house had a new roof completed in 2019. On the documentation I received from my solicitor when buying this house the roof documentation was included, stating a 10 year warrantee. This is the invoice.

I have contacted the company that completed this work who stated they would come and look at it in mid September (no date confirmed) he didn’t seem too bothered more like fobbing me off. I have sent an email to confirm our conversation with no reply from him. Where do I stand legally please? Is there anything I can do?
FYI I am a 29 year old single woman living alone, I can’t really afford the quotes I have received to replace this from other companies,
Thank you!! X

Is that the only warranty documentation you have? You don't necessarily have the right to enforce whatever warranty the original customer had - this is the sort of thing which ought to have been checked during the conveyancing process - was it?0

A warrantee probably wouldn't cover accidental damage.
Have you spoken to your home insurance?0 -
What sort of quotes have you had? If the roof vent is what I'm imagining it is, I doubt it's much of a job but appreciate that money may be tight.
You'll need to see if the guarantee transferred to you when you bought the house. Your solicitor should have clarified this, given they knew of the re-roofing job. How did the vent "fall off"? Was it blown off in a recent storm? If so, I doubt the guarantee would cover it in any case, unless there's some evidence that it was poorly installed and was always likely to blow off, but that doesn't seem likely given that we've had much more severe storms since 2019.0
