Trying to understand SSP and salary

 Yes if you qualify for SSP which on the details you have given you do appear to you should be getting SSP of gross £116.75 a week. As you are being paid monthly this would vary depending on the month and how individual days are calculated. You are asked by HMRC to first query with your employer and if not happy with their answer or I assume if they do not answer then contact HMRC as advised above.sparkhe said:I'm just trying to find out how much ssp I should be getting now .
 I worked part time 20h a week Monday to Friday for the past 7 years and unfortunately I'm off work sick awaiting operation.
 I'm getting £256 a month is this right , I looked it up and what I could see was £116 regardless of full time or part time.
 Yes we are struggling but surviving.
 You can't talk to HR or payroll anymore you have to go through line manger and I'm still wait 3 weeks on .
 Any help would be great full
 This assumes that there is nothing else affecting your SSP eg run out of entitlement0
