Recommendations - Non Branded Grass Feed & Grass Seed

Hi, wondering if anyone can recommend a a retailer that sells non branded bulk:

  1. Grass Seed
  2. Summer Lawn Feed
  3. Autumn Lawn Feed
I normally but grass seed in 5 - 10kg bags from Amazon but that's become quite expensive too.

As for the feed, there are a lot of brand names out there but surely must be some retailers selling bulk non branded feeds for less.

Thanks for your recommendations.  :)

Do you have an allotment or gardeners association near you?

Very often they sell loose grass seed

And as for feed, again you could mix your own if basic ingredients available from Allotment shop, such as potash, ammonia etc

Trago Mills if you live in the SW/SWales.

  • Thanks for replied so far. Unfortunately I don't live near and looking for online retailer that would be a one stop shop.

    Thanks
  • I used to get my grass seed from Wilcos cos they sold it loose. I believe their stock was bought up by The Range, so they may have some.
    I don't wanna shut up, I want a 7up and a 10p mix-up.

What about lawnsmith or A1Lawn? I got the former recently and so far it seems to be good.

The facebook groups (yes there are a few lawn-related groups!) mentions Boston Seed as being good for ordering bulk grass seeds.

Thanks, I use A1Lawn for grass seed. Decent service although prices have shot up.

Thanks. Oh I use A1Lawns for mail-order grass seed. Just wondering if anyone had anywhere better as prices have shot up.

Also really looking for a mail-order grass feed weed controller (summer and autumn) to buy in bulk.

Urea is the main content of lawn feed and weed.
    Crazy price online.
But you have it, That's free :D
The only downside is that the grass grows beautifully thick and green eliminating weeds and is tougher to mow

I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
