I do not have a problem with anything that only needs one hook, one pin etc. what i do have problems with is frames that have two fixings ,getting them exactly level ,correct distance apart etc.

I had that problem when doing some work for a Chiropractor. She asked me to hang some pictures dead level, equally spaced, and the same below to make a cross. I've hung loads at home and thought it would be a doddle, but realised it was not so easy with 2 fixings. Managed to work out how to it and got them spot on, only to be told they were in the wrong order, so I had to start again.
Luckily I only work on an hourly rate nowadays.

What I ended up doing was to put a couple of screws through a piece of wood as a guide. I turned the picture over, and put the screws under the cord and pulled them up. I then measured to the top of the frame, and the side. Levelled a pencil mark off the first picture, and plumbed down for the edge. I could then measure the position for the screws from the lines.

I would watch out there, might be another contractor trying to get a foot in the door.
