Which Stop/Start battery - AGM or EFB?

Seemingly the AGM is better technology, but for the same price I can get 5 more Ah and 60 more cranking A from the EFB at the same price. Both 4-year warranty.

What features does your car have? EFB's are for basic cars which have stop start, but not much in the way of electronics past some parking sensors.

If you have satnav, Android Auto / Car Play, cruise control, amplifiers etc then you should be using an AGM. AGM's are designed for restarting warm cars as well as cold.

As long as the CCA matches what the manufacturer recommends then having more isn't much benefit unless you live in a very cold place.

For the same price, AGM. And make sure whichever you go for is programmed to the car if required.

D'oh! Someone pointed out that there's a spec plate on the car, so that makes my decision for me - there should be no need to reset the CPU to suit a different battery.

    AGM, and 760 cranking.

Went for a 760 crank 72Ah Exide EK720 from Tayna batteries (used them before - spot on).
Tackled the job yesterday, and it was a feel-your-way task, as all the guides I'd seen on YouTube were wrong to some degree. Anyhoo, a half-hour later, battery replaced.
The old battery was an Exide EK700, so must have been replaced just before I bought the car - I don't think Exide is OE.
No resetting issues or anything else, other than to set the time - and the extra couple of Ahs make the car go much faster.
As a joyous bonus, the 'faulty airbag' light that had been annoying the twits off me for a month, has gone away, and that was actually the main prompt for swapping the battery; I'd read it's possible for a failing battery to not properly prime the 'bags on startup and cause this 'fault'.
Another bonus - this time annoying and unwanted - is that I'm expecting my StopStart to come back into play too - pah.
