Firstly I really rate Amex and everything we get with ours.
I have held a platinum cash back for some time and we make the most of this by all our monthly spend going on the card.
i am eligible for a BA card with a bonus offer of 60,000 shops on the premium card.
We travel a lot for work and leisure, however the annual fee is £300
I’d love to hear from anyone who has the card and how you’ve found it stacks up for the cost?

I don't hold any Amexes but keep my eye on the offerings. If you want more information and opinion have a look on Headforpoints. There are card reviews. Forums where all things Amex are discussed. And a daily discussion thread. Lots of stories/examples of people using Avios and the vouchers for their travel. Look on the destination board in the forum to see potential ways to use the card's benefits. You could post your question either in the dedicated Amex forum or post on the daily chat. Are you aware if you haven't spent £10k by November, you don't get the voucher? I understand on 1st Nov, the target becomes £15k if you have spent less than £10k up to that point. The UK amex site shows a bonus of 30k if you spend £6k within 3 months of getting the card. I imagine you have seen the 60k offer on the BA Exec club site. I imagine the spending requirement is the same to get the 60k bonus. So I suppose you need to decide if you can spend that much in the timeframe. Also if you are not aware, Amex has a minimum income requirement, which according to this webpage is £35k for the BAPP (BA Premium Plus) card.I suggest you look at the stories/threads on HeadforPoints and see if how others use the card could work for you.HTHEdited to add: Or a different card might be better e.g. the Gold card given the amount of travelling you already do? Entirely your choice.0

Secondly, do you spend enough to be able to get sufficient Avios for it to be useful?
For work I used to make at least monthly trips to the US in business which I had to pay for myself and reclaim so could earn large amounts of Avios or MR depending on the card I had at the time. My best bag was 2 first class tickets from HKG to LHR which were over £10k cash each but paid $5.0
